This visualization plots localities as lines according to approximate age ranges (vertical axis) and distance from a designated centerpoint (horizontal axis - the default ceterpoint is Port Sudan). Longer, thinner, more transparent lines indicate lower precision. Shorter, brighter, wider lines reflect more precise dates, but they are NOT necessarily more accurate. African localities are plotted in the black area to the left, and Eurasian localities are plotted in the graded area to the right. Use keywords like 'Ethiopia' or 'erectus' to restrict sites in plot.
